We just didn't see it coming. On April 13, 2004, Bush even said:

“Nobody in our government, at least, and I don't think the prior government, could envision flying airplanes into buildings on such a massive scale.”

Maybe Alex Jones should work for the CIA. He had intellegence of it 40 days prior. He could have saved 3000 lives. Here he is telling us to call the White House to call off the attacks.

After seeing that video, it kind of deflates the government's story regarding the 9/11 attacks. Big bad Bin Laden did it... sure he did.

It was supposed to be the largest attack on U.S. soil in the history of the U.S., and was allegedly carried out by this "man", but they didn't bother to bring it up on his "Most Wanted Terrorist" page. Instead they just mention his bombing of embassies. I guess you could say that it falls under the "other terrorist attacks around the world" phrase that they used, but that doesn't really cut it for me.

If this were the only fishy part of the story, I'd assume it was just an oversight. But the entire thing stinks.
